Interview With Olympic Champion and Team GB Curling Captain, Eve Muirhead MBE
On the last day of the Winter Olympics, with only one medal for GB in the bank from the men’s curling team, Eve Muirhead MBE and her determined curlers made it a clean sweep. They thrashed Japan 10-3, taking home gold and making the nation proud.
Eve’s been curling from the tender age of 9. With many titles and medals under her belt, including four-time World Junior Champion and the youngest ever skip (male or female) to win an Olympic medal, only Olympic Gold was missing from her impressive trophy cabinet.
Eve’s been a big name in the world of curling and was even chosen as Team GB’s flagbearer at Beijing. But the four-time Olympian lost two consecutive Olympic semi-finals and now was the time to achieve that dream for GB and, most importantly, herself.
Eve’s talent and passion for the game is unquestionable. As hasta’s Ambassador for The Curling Club, her enthusiasm was infectious, and she shared our delight in exposing the game to so many new people. Following her and the team’s impressive performance, we caught up with Eve at the Langham Hotel, one of two locations for The Curling Club 2021-2022.
hasta’s experts share how to manage stress levels and changes you can implement today.
