My Name'5 Doddie Foundation

Helping to create a world free of MND

Memorial For Doddie Weir

Our long-standing relationship with the rugby community meant that partnering with the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation seemed only natural.

When Doddie Weir OBE, one of rugby’s most iconic personalities, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2017, he made it his mission to create a world without MND. Faced with ineffective treatments, no innovative clinical trials and little hope, Doddie took control of his diagnosis and set up the Foundation, directing millions of pounds into breakthrough studies, education and ways to improve the everyday lives of MND sufferers.

Charity is at the heart of hasta’s philosophy and the 3Cs. With just one event under our belts, our multi-year partnership has already raised tens of thousands of pounds for the Foundation, a true testament to the work and legacy of the beloved rugby personality Doddie Weir OBE.

hasta surpassed all expectations. The precision, detail, sensitivity and enthusiasm for the work of Doddie and the Foundation were a delight to see. The money raised will fund further targeted research and support our vision of a world free of MND. We are very excited to see what this multi-year partnership will do for those suffering from MND.”

Jill Douglas, CEO at the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation

How our partnerships benefit our customers

“Absolutely amazing evening at the Brewery. What a special occasion to celebrate everything Scottish! To support the foundation as well is just incredible. I’m looking forward to doing it again next year.
